A couple of weeks ago I learned about Sarah Hyndman's book, The Type Taster: How Fonts Influence You and that it will be released this Saturday, February 14, 2015.

The book is a limited edition run of 2,000 and is currently priced at £18 (roughly $27.50 US) and available in 5 limited edition covers: Baskerville, Clarendon, Didot, Gill Sans and Helvetica.

Inside the book you also get a “personality analysis of your cover choice”. How cool is that?

I contacted her immediately about shipping to the U.S.

It turns out that the shipping costs about as much as the book, ugh. So, I’ve been waffling since our email exchange about buying one now or waiting until there is a U.S. distributor. What if they sell out and a second edition isn’t printed?

It’s such a beautiful book. I think I may just have to follow her suggestion and see if I can find some fellow type lovers to go in on a bulk purchase to save on shipping.
