This animated gif illustrated and designed by Christoph Neiman is the latest cover for The New Yorker and it is super classy.
It is an image I love to make when I'm in the car and it is raining! This illustration also proves that motion doesn't have to be tricked out to grab the attention of readers. And as long as The New Yorker doesn't do this for every single cover (which could get super boring) gifs can be a wonderful cover option.
Kudos to The New Yorker.
And Christoph Neiman? I've long admired his work.
