Jason Monfort

Challenge: This is a story of desiring to follow one’s passion and build a creative life. Jason Monfort has been working with wood since he was a teenager. Since then, he has built everything from canoes, custom guitars, surfboards, furniture, wine bars to simply perfect screen doors. He's now preparing to make the leap: moving his business to a full-time venture, in which he’ll devote his experienced hands and eyes, and his deftness with wood, to craft the next phase of his life.

Solution: A warm and elegant letterpress business card printed on French

Paper’s Speckletone Kraft paper. Letterpress printer Kevin Cox used a clear varnish to blind emboss the texture of wood grain, giving it some depth and a hint of a second color.

Results: Jason continues to build his client base and regularly receives compliments on the design of his letterpress business cards. Soon we will begin building a website for Monfort Studio. Stay tuned!
